Supernatural horror novel which follows a young woman named Katherine Derringer, who is attacked by a random stranger. Shortly after she is contacted by her estranged mother, who tells her she is still in danger and asks to meet her in a small sleepy town by the name of Blackscott, but upon arriving, Katherine discovers she has walked into a trap, organised by a twin brother called Keiran who she never knew existed.
