Alex Holmes was born in London, grew up in Brighton, and followed in his father’s footsteps to become a policeman. After investigating a suspicious murder in 1972 everything changed for him., He was taken back through time from 1979 to 1917 to solve a murder, and to prove the innocence of Harold Green, a gang warlord wrongly convicted and imprisoned for 35 years for a crime he did not commit.
