Pete, Fleur, and Friends

An animated STEM education series set in a slightly magical classroom of the not-too-distant future. Pete Tote is a science teacher and hobbyist inventor who is struggling to make his lessons more engaging. Fleur Keyes is a musician who lives in the same block of flats as Pete, whose band has fallen apart. They decide to team up to write songs to inspire the next generation of scientists. Each episode, they invite a guest – the friend – to help teach the class a particular topic. As the lesson unfolds, Fleur writes a song, summarising the key points. Pete has prototyped a ‘neurogenerator’ – a type of flight helmet which incorporates transcranial magnetic stimulation and a mounted display to help grown-ups learn new topics, fast. He has also developed an avatar system. The neurogenerator is used by Pete (and sometimes the friend) to learn the song. At the end of the lesson the song is sung, accompanied by an avatar band.
